Salon policy
Appointment Booking
Booking Procedure: All appointments must be booked at least 24 hours in advance. A £15 deposit will be required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit will be deducted from the total cost of service. If the deposit is not received within 4 hours of booking, the appointment will be automatically cancelled.
We encourage using our online booking system or calling the salon.
Cancellation Policy
cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in a 50% charge of the scheduled service.
No-show Policy: Clients who fail to show up for their scheduled appointment without prior notice will be charged 100% of the service price.
Payment
Accepted Payments: We accept cash, debit, and credit cards. A deposit may be required for certain services.
Pricing: Prices are subject to change, and you will be informed of any price adjustments ahead of time.
Late Arrivals
Arrival Time: Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your appointment to ensure we start on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule, and a late fee could apply.
Service Satisfaction
Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not happy with your service, please let us know within 7 days, and we will make it right. We cannot guarantee refunds but will work with you to correct the issue.
Health & Safety
Health Disclosure: Clients are required to inform us of any allergies or skin conditions that could affect the service.
Cleanliness: We adhere to strict sanitation and cleanliness protocols. All tools are disinfected after each use to ensure your safety.
Service Guidelines
Consultation: A consultation will be conducted before every service to ensure your needs are met. We reserve the right to refuse service if we feel the service is not suitable for the client.
Products: We use only high-quality, professional products in our services. If you have specific preferences, please let us know in advance.
Salon Etiquette
Respectful Environment: We strive to maintain a calm and welcoming environment for all clients. Disrespectful behavior, including inappropriate language or actions, will not be tolerated.
Gift Cards
Expiration: Gift cards must be used within 6 months of purchase. They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Changes to Policy
Policy Updates: These policies are subject to change. Clients will be notified of any significant changes to the policy via our website, email, or in-salon notices.
At K&L Luxury Lounge, we prioritize your safety and well-being. For all colour services, a patch test is required 48 hours before your appointment to ensure there are no allergic reactions to the products we use.
Patch Test Requirement
A patch test must be done at least 48 hours before your scheduled colour appointment.
It is the client’s responsibility to book a patch test appointment in advance. You may either schedule it during your initial consultation or call us to arrange a time that works best for you.
We are happy to accommodate you for a patch test on a walk-in basis, provided there’s availability. However, we recommend booking ahead to ensure we can fit you in.
If Patch Test is Not Done
If a patch test is not completed within 48 hours before your appointment, we will be unable to carry out your colour service on the day of your appointment. A new appointment will need to be rescheduled, and a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your new booking.
It is your responsibility to ensure you have had the patch test within the required time frame. We cannot perform any colour service without a patch test being conducted.
Exceptions
If you have had a colour service with us within the past 6 months and have had no reactions, a patch test may not be required. However, we still strongly recommend it for your safety.
For all new clients or those who have not had a colour service with us in the past 6 months, a patch test is mandatory.
